Healios is a finalist in the HealthInvestor Awards

Healios’ online suite of digital tools and services has been shortlisted in two categories at the 2017 HealthInvestor Awards: Technology Provider of the Year and Diagnostics Provider of the Year.

“Our interconnected pathway is a world’s first in mental health, and covers assessment, treatment, ongoing monitoring and overall care management,” said Richard Andrews, Founder and Chairman of Healios. “We’ve created this platform so that our clients and their families can access their care through any smart device, can track their well-being in our mobile app, and can connect their entire family into their virtual clinician sessions from multiple locations. Here at Healios, we are focused on providing the best possible technology-enabled care to increase access and improve outcomes.”

Healios is commissioned by NHS Trusts and CCGs to combat mental health waiting lists. Covering adult, children, and young people mental health services, Healios provides assessment and treatment immediately upon referral, so that those affected by mental illness get the care they need without wait. The assessment and diagnosis services provided by Healios enables a more efficient path to care and includes autism spectrum conditions, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and a range of mental health conditions, such as anxiety and depression.

The HealthInvestor team has received a record number of nominations this year, from which the finalists in each of the eight categories were selected. Healios is one of eight finalists shortlisted for the Diagnostics Provider of the Year Award and one of six shortlisted for the Technology Provider of the Year Award.

An independent judging panel of high-profile healthcare industry leaders will review the finalists’ entries and will select a winner for each category. The winners will be announced at the black-tie dinner awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, on Thursday, 1 June 2017.

Richard Andrews commented, “Innovative technologies and digital tools play an important role in how care is delivered and how we create the best possible treatment journey for our clients. I am beyond pleased to be shortlisted for two award categories that recognise the value and impact of our services on the patient and family experience, as well as the overall treatment delivery.”
