Healios Right to Choose

Right to Choose referrals

Healios provides autism and ADHD assessments and services under the Right to Choose framework.

We deliver services in Devon, Herefordshire and Worcestershire and, in line with NHS England legislation, are able to accept referrals from any GP in England. All referrals are reviewed to ensure the requested assessment can be delivered safely and in line with our clinical pathways.

Our current ADHD assessment waiting time is up to six months from receipt of a complete referral. And our current autism assessment waiting time is up to 12 months.

Before asking your GP to refer you, please review the information below about available services and assessment requirements.

Your GP or local NHS service can also advise you on alternative referral options in your area. If you would prefer to explore privately funded assessment and care, please visit Melios for further information.

Please review before requesting a referral

Some Right to Choose assessment pathways require attendance at a face-to-face clinical appointment.

  • Adult autism and adult ADHD assessments are delivered remotely
  • Child and young person autism assessments are delivered remotely
  • Child and young person ADHD assessments (ages 7–18) require one face-to-face appointment at our Hereford or Bromsgrove clinic, followed by one remote appointment

If a face-to-face appointment is required and you are unable, or do not wish, to travel to Hereford or Bromsgrove, we will not be able to accept the referral.

Please review the information on this page before asking your GP to refer you.
