Working with the NHS
Healios is a leading digital provider of mental health and neurodevelopmental services.
We improve outcomes for seven to 25 year olds with mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions and support the NHS to deliver on its Long Term Plan objectives. Our specialist digital multidisciplinary team collaborates with local services to increase capacity, reduce waiting times and improve quality.
With 220 registered clinicians covering 30 different specialities, we have one of the most comprehensive mental health, autism and ADHD service offerings for children and young people in the UK. We’re proud to provide quick access to care for the under 25s. Mental health assessments can be accessed within days of referral. For autism and ADHD assessments, it’s appoximately one month.
Provide high quality care
We’ve delivered more than 100,000 clinical sessions to date, 65,000 of which have taken place in the last three years. From diagnosis through to post-diagnostic support, quality of care is always front of mind at Healios. We offer more than 15 NICE compliant psychological therapies and interventions and follow robust clinical and information governance practices.
Deliver on Long Term Plan
Healios has been a digital service provider since the start. And we remain at the forefront of digitally enabled care. By embedding integrated digital pathways into NHS services, we help more children and young people to access the support they need, regardless of location. All while helping the NHS to achieve its Long Term Plan ambitions.
We have contracted with 62% of NHS mental health trusts in England, as well as health boards in Scotland and Wales.
Our Mental Health team delivers time-limited mental health assessments and psychological interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Goal Based Interventions (GBI). Our service aims to improve mental health, promote resilience, teach coping skills and reduce the impact of presenting problems.
Our Neurodevelopment team provides assessments and non-pharmacological interventions for autism and ADHD. We offer timely diagnosis and enhanced understanding of the child or young person’s strengths, as well as any adjustments that may be required.
For both our mental health and neurodevelopmental service offerings, we take a strengths-based approach and include as many family members as possible.

Powered by technology
All of our appointments are delivered via our online clinical platform, Panacea.
Children and young people can see their clinician on-screen, use interactive tools and ask family members or other people from their support network to join their sessions remotely. We’ve also developed an app for 10-18 year olds called ThinkNinja that’s focused on CBT-informed exercises. ThinkNinja can be used between sessions for extra on-demand support.
